Happy teachers' day!

Happy teachers' day to all my students who are also teachers!

I'd like you to tell me about some teachers who have inspired you!

I can remember my French teacher at university who was an enthusiastic, patient and pleasant young woman that made us all love her language and her country.
I also remember how inspirational and exigent our Philosophy teacher was. Reading "Los mundos de Sofía" in class made as all enjoy Philosophy as teenagers.
To finish, I’ll mention my Math teacher: a creative, positive and funny man who let us discover how Math is present in our lives.

Their classes have probably made me who I am now.

How about you? Can you mention a teacher that was particularly inspirational to you?

Please, tell me about him/her.

Hi again María,
I remember two teachers my Gymnastics teacher she was funny because she wanted we did artistic gymnastic with music of the decade, it was in 1983, in 1984 and in 1985 and it depends of the song you must dress up according with the song for example I had a great remember with the song thriller, of Michael Jackson, we had to go with a broken shirt, the face make-up like blood and to use balls, gymnastics ribbons and gymnastics rings.
The other one is a nun, currently we meet us sometimes she always said that I was better than my sister, better student than her, more polite than her and only I didn’t like of her it was my History teacher and I hate History. My favourite’s subjects are Nature, Geology, Palaeontology and Maths what we call pure sciences.

Hi María,

I can remember my Maths teacher at high-school. They were married and very different from each other. Regina, was strict, patient and serious woman, but her way to teach was clear and I learned a lot. Her husband, Mariano, was the opposite: hilarious, with a big sense of humor and very affectionate. He always made us to laugh. I loved his classes.
I can't forget my Language teacher, Jose Manuel, the most attractive teacher at high-school!! He was a bit forgetful man, but his classes were the best in the world.
And finally, there is a page on Facebook about my high-school where I can see photos of them and read their comments, is so wonderful!!

Hello girls!
Apparently my comments with the corrections weren’t posted correctly in December. I post them again and I hope it works this time!

María

Charo, thank you very much for your contribution. Have a look at some of the mistakes:
Attention to punctuation too! You must use full stops and commas!
• Well done, anyway!
• she wanted us to do artistic gymnastics
• and depending on the song you had to dress up according to it
• I have a great memory of the song thriller
• we had to wear a broken shirt…
• we meet sometimes
• the only thing that I didn’t like about her was that she was my History teacher
• My favourite subjects are Science

Great job, Verónica! Thank you for sharing your memories with us!

Have a look at some little corrections.

• I can remember my Maths teachers (they were two!)
• Regina, was a strict, patient and serious woman
• with a great sense of humor. It’s a collocation, Verónica.
• He was a bit forgetful. You shouldn’t use man here!
• And finally. This expression doesn’t make much sense here… I would say something like “At present or Nowadays…”
• It is so wonderful!!
